Randa Covington (stage age 49) Randa is a perfectionist and workaholic, struggling to cope with a surprise career derailment that, unfortunately, reveals that she has no life and no idea how to get one.

Dot Haigler (stage age 69) Dot is still reeling from her husband’s recent demise and the loss of their plans for an idyllic retirement. She also faces the unsettling prospect of starting a new life from scratch — and all alone.

Cast:
Four women, ages 20-something to 60ish
Four men, late 20s to 40s
 
Female Roles:
DOT — 50- to 60-something. Orchestrates the weekend, has a 30-something-year-old son, Stephen
MEG — 40s. Dating Stephen. Has a 20-something-year-old daughter, Ellie.
CAROL — 30s. Trying to have a baby with her husband, Rick.
ELLIE — 20s. Single. Free spirit. Doesn’t really want to be there.
 
Male Roles:
STEPHEN — 30s. Dot’s son. In a relationship with Meg.
RICK — 30s to 40s. Carol’s husband.
