Synopsis:
In this Pulitzer Prize-winning drama, Blanche, a fading Southern belle, arrives in New Orleans to reside with her sister, Stella, and Stella’s husband, Stanley, who live barely above squalor. Their apartment becomes a pressure cooker of sensuality and class tensions as Stanley blames Blanche for the loss of his wife’s inheritance. Tensions ultimately erupt, producing some iconic theatrical scenes.
