In 2026, our wonderful facility turns 40 years old!
To insure that FSLT will comfortably accommodate our patrons for decades to come, we have completed an exciting refresh of our auditorium.
In December 2025, we began making numerous improvements including the installation of fresh paint, new carpet, and wonderfully comfortable theatre seats! Bravo to the Arvest Foundation for Launch Gift which initiated this project and to Michael and Susan Boulden for their campaign Legacy Gift.
We are happy to report that all of our original seats were “rehomed” to a start-up theatre in Oklahoma and to Northside High School. With beautiful fabric and supportive cushioning, we know you will love the new seats we chose!
How can you be part of the project? Please Take A Seat!
For only $250, you can name a seat, show your support for our theatre, or leave a lasting tribute to someone special. This is your chance to become an integral part of the fabric of our theatre — quite literally!
Your name and/or the name of your honoree will be engraved on a plaque affixed to one of 195 fixed seats. FAQs and naming details are provided below.

And remember – when you Take A Seat, you’re more than a spectator to the magic of theatre; you’re playing a role in our history and insuring that FSLT will be well equipped to comfortably entertain our community for many years to come.
The cost of naming a seat is only $250.
As a seat sponsor, your name and/or the name of your honoree will be engraved on a plaque that will be affixed to the back of a new theatre seat.
Also, those who contribute to our Take A Seat Campaign will be listed on our website for years to come. Additional recognition including social media and printed materials is also planned.
Engraving is limited to two lines, 24 characters per line including spaces. Just let us know what you want to appear on each line. This is an opportunity to put your own name(s) on seats or dedicate a seat “In Honor Of” or “In Memory Of” someone special.
Your named plaque can be affixed to the seat of your choice – providing it is available and not already selected by another patron.
No. This campaign is a naming opportunity and does not include tickets or seat assignments for performances in the theatre.
Yes – please do! Just be sure that if you make your Take A Seat donation online, you process one seat at a time so that you can specify the wording for each engraved plaque. Alternately, call us at 479.783.2966 Extn. 4 or email fsltfunding@gmail.com and a volunteer will process your donation and collect your seat plaque details.
Giving to our Take A Seat Campaign is donating to the Fort Smith Little Theatre, a 501c-3 non-profit organization. Therefore, your donation is tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law. Please contact your tax advisor for further information.
