Directed by Grace Andrews
Performances: December 12-14 7:30 pm
Synopsis:
We know them, we love them, and we love to make fun of them—Hallmark movies! This year’s annual FSLT Christmas offseason show is an original (unauthorized) parody written by bestie duo Grace Andrews and Hunter Doohan, and directed by Andrews. Andrews and Doohan have collaborated on a handful of variety shows in the past, and now they’re bringing a twist to the classic Hallmark tropes many of us love (while others of us love to hate).
A Hall & Mark Christmas follows Hall, a big city business girl and Christmas hater, who is called home for Christmas. While Hall thinks she’s there to help save her dad’s toy shop, her parents (who are—unbeknownst to Hall—Santa and Mrs.Claus) are conspiring to have Hall fall back in love with her old flame, Mark.
Will a visit from her Big City Boyfriend ruin the matchmaking plan? Could Hall’s Quirky Best Friend step in to kinda help? Maybe it’s the dancing elves or the quintessential Christmas tree farm, but somewhere in the chaos, Hall could start believing in Christmas after all. Or not. Who knows?
With Eric Wells, Allie Schneider, Ian Miller, Hannah Lovins and a host of others taking the stage, you won’t want to miss A Hall & Mark Christmas December 12-14. Suggested for ages 12+.
Come for a wholesome holiday show and leave with sore abs from the laughter. You might even find some Christmas spirit!
